About simply daph

Daphine Bush, known artistically as Simply Daph, is a worship singer, songwriter, creative visionary, ordained pastor, mother, daughter and wife whose life and ministry flow from one central truth: everything she is, and everything she carries, belongs to God.

Raised in Louisiana as the oldest of six, Daph found her voice in the church. From youth choirs to songwriting journals, she discovered a natural intimacy with God through music—an intimacy that would shape her calling long before she fully recognized it. Her sound has always carried conviction, compassion, and a sensitivity to the Holy Spirit that disarms the heart and draws listeners into authentic encounter.

Before stepping fully into music, Daph built a thriving career as a blogger, influencer, and creative entrepreneur. Yet even in those successful seasons, God continued to pull her back toward the river she first drank from. Worship was never just a gift; it was the place of her becoming - the place He kept calling her home.

That call deepened when Daph and her husband were ordained as pastors. Together they lead with humility, passion, and a shared desire to see people restored to their true identity in Christ. Every song, sermon, and creative expression is shaped by this mission—to awaken faith, heal the heart, and point people back to the One who satisfies.

In 2020, she independently released her debut single “Call On You,” a heartfelt expression of trust and devotion. Now she returns with “This River,” her most vulnerable and spirit-led offering yet. Blending worship, soul, and modern gospel textures, her music is marked by purity, presence, and undeniable anointing. Her voice—heard across churches, conferences, and digital platforms—creates space for listeners to breathe, believe, and encounter God for themselves.

For Simply Daph, music is not entertainment. It is surrender. It is assignment. It is obedience.
It is the river of living water that Jesus promised—and the river she is finally stepping into without hesitation.

Whether behind a microphone, a pulpit, or a camera, her heart remains the same:
to lead people into the presence of God and remind them of who they truly are in Him.
